我的单词学习2:前缀ef-与字根fect

ef- 前缀 表示“来自于…，出自于…”

effect中的fect字根表示make或do，即“做”的意思，那么“来自于（ef-)做（fect)”，也就是说“做的过程以及做的结果”会有“外部性”，即“效果”（effect)之意。

Hence,your actions must be effective（有效果的），and that is a kind of effectiveness（效力、效应)。

Almost all the positive actions will gain the positive effectiveness,and the negative actions nearly lead to the negative effectiveness.

把ef-换成前缀af-（add的意思）得到另一个词affect，就表示“影响、感染”的意思。有的人可能会理解为add给别人，让别人fect（do的意思），就是影响了，我倒是更愿意把它理解为，add自己去做（fect)，用自己的行动去affect others，结果往往会更有effectiveness。
