信任的理解

信任是一种信仰，是一种主观的mental 态度，对一个人或物的行为和动作（action 和 behavior）和相关result（agent A to another agent B）

信任的特点

主观性 Subjective，完全取决去个人的disposition 和 经历。

Optimistic person, is easy to trust, and difficult to distrust

Pessimistic person, is hard to trust, and easy to distruct

转递性 Transitivity

A相信B，B相信C，就是A相信C

Context dependent and multi-faceted

Context dependent, different situation the trust for something is different.

Dynamics

信任会随着时间的推移，增加或是减少

Trust Acquisition 获取信任

信任可以从个人经历获得， could gain trust from personal experiences

• 直接互动 Direct interaction
• 观察 Observation
• 推算 Presumptions

信任可以从他人获得

• Word from others (流言蜚语，八卦，口口相传)
• institutions （机构）

声誉

是一群人对于agent的信任或是评价

Centralized person/agent reputation systems

特点是比较简单
reputation 来自于不同用户的总体评级
有centralized system manager, to keep of trust and reputation

Decentralized person/agent reputation systems

没有centralized system manager, to keep of trust and reputation
reputation需要通过自己来建立， Each agent has to develop the reputation on other agents based on direct interactions.
