Chapter Four- The sycamore tree

In this chapter, I saw a girl with young, beautiful, notable soul, named Juliana. Her father was a mason, and he had a hobby of painting.

the sentences described the relations between the father and the daughter just moved me a little, peaceful and warnth. Here are the extracts: When I was a child, my dad would let me siti beside him on the porch while he painted, as long as I'd be quiet. I don't do quiet easily, but I discovered that after five or ten minutes withou a peep, he would starting talking. I 've learned a  lot about my father at the way. He tole me all sorts of stories about what he 'd done when he was my age, and other things, too--like how he got his frist job delivering hay, and he wished he'd finished college. When I got a little older, he still talked about himself and his childhood, but he also started asking questions about me. such as what were we learning at school?what book was I currently reading?what did I think about this or that?

In my opinion, this paragraph is well written about get-along of parent-child.

When it comes to the question concerning why I was so crazy about Bryce, there appears a conflict among the father and the little girl. Dad said " you need to start looking at the whole landscape." And this words really confused the girl at that time.

There was a part I thought it formed connecting link between the proceding and the following,"i understood what he was saying, but I never felt what he was saying until one day when I was up in the sycamore tree.

The description of this paragraph is amazing. " That's when the fear of being up so high bagan to lift, and in its place came to the most amazing feeling that I was flying. Just soaring above the earth, sailing among the clouds. Then I began to notice how wonderful the breeze smelled. It seemed like ... sunshine. like sunshine and wild wild grass and pomegranates and rain! I couldn't stop breathing it in, filling my lungs agin and again with the sweetest smell I'd ever known.

The another part about ambiguous is interesting,"my heart was  positively racing as I held the kite out to him. But before he could take it, Champ nudged me from behind and I could feel his cold , wet nose against my skin.

dad told his daughter that "I want the spirit of that tree to be with you always, and I want you to remember how you felt when you were up there."
