三、 ACT阅读主旨题的答题思路

ACT主旨题主要分为全文主旨题和段落大意题。

对于全文主旨题,我们可以从以下方面着手:

►关注关键性的句子:如首段和尾段的首句、各段首句、重要转折句。并且要特别注意文章中出现的连接词(转折but/however,in

fact,actually;因果so/therefore,或一些常见但在文中出现有一定目的的词the study shows that……,for

example;总结或者结论的话有thus,in short,to conclude,in

conclusion等),因为这些词后面阐述的往往就是主旨句。

►注意高频词。任何一篇文章都是围绕某个主题展开的,因此,许多文章中最明显的特点之一是反复出现的中心词,即高频词,也叫做主题词。抓住了它,便容易抓住文章的中心。

当然,全文主旨题可以放在最后在做,这样更可以保证正确率。

对于段落主旨题,我们可以从以下方面着手:

♦注意区分段落主要内容和次要内容,读段落的首句和末句,并且注意段落中观点的转折变化。

♦从答案选项分析,正确选项一般不出现细节信息,一般不含过度肯定或绝对意义的词,一般还有抽象名词或概括性词语。
