Clearing 清理

Do not try to save the whole world or do anything grandiose.

不要试图去拯救整个世界，或者，

去做些宏大的事情

Instead, create a clearing in the dense forest of your life

相反，在你生命的稠密的森林中，

创造出一块儿清净之地

and wait there patiently, until the song that is your life

falls into your own cupped hands–

然后，耐心地在哪里等待

直到属于你生命的那首歌

轻轻地，落到属于你鞠起的手心

and you recognize and greet it.

Only then will you know how to give yourself

to this world so worthy of rescue.

你认出了它，迎接它，

到那时，你才知道

如何把你自己，

交给这个如此值得去拯救的人间
