让每一个普通的瞬间都变得有趣和值得纪念,大家好,我是米米,他是Eason。Eason今年5周多,最喜欢的一套分级读物就是《牛津阅读树》了,今天Eason将阅读Level 9《The Blue Eye》。
牛津树体系
Eason阅读的这套书英文全称《Oxford Reading Tree》,中文名《牛津阅读树》,相信大家并不陌生,米米做了一个思维导图如下:
对于1-3阶中的22个故事,单词和句型都非常简单,家长们在家里完全可以自己结合音频材料搞定,那么对于其他的部分,比如拼读和拓展阅读,接下来我会在《Eason读绘本》中做相应的补充。
阅读的主要目标是Read to Learn (在阅读中吸收知识),但是这套书之所以称之为读物,还是要把重心放在对故事内容的理解上,就如同我们大学中的泛读,不要特别纠结一些不认识的单词。
从另外一个角度来说,既然不认识,那就可以通过阅读学习由不认识到认识。如果想作为精读材料学习,当然也是不错的,看个人选择。
选择理由
选择这套绘本作为Eason的英语启蒙内容,提前是有做功课的,考虑到以下几个方面:
1.故事贴近孩子的生活、接地气,还有一些小游戏,孩子会因为喜欢,而愿意去读;
2.可以学到大量的生活中可用的词汇和句型,学以致用;
3.每一次进阶能看到主人公们的成长和变化,内容设计上非常合理。
4.会让孩子们获得创造灵感,富有想象空间。
5.特别多的场景适合我们来做Role-play等拓展活动。
下面,就来给大家介绍下故事中的主人公们,直接上图。
阅读Tips
根据我的教学经验,提供大家一些关于阅读的小技巧参考,便于孩子们快速地了解故事。
1.从封面开始到封底结束,首先快速看图(而非文本)了解故事梗概;
2.对于4-9阶的故事,裸听2-3遍音频;
3.对文章内容分析、运用阅读技巧勾勒出文章核心内容、知识拓展;
4.跟读内容并反复练习发音,培养语感;
5.部分单词和句型记忆并不断练习造句;
6.可能的话,家长和小朋友进行问答练习;
7.坚持。
《The Blue Eye》播画
我们先来看这本绘本的整个插画部分(从左到右,从上到下的顺序),对于故事内容,米米只做部分内容的讲解和提炼。
讲解
当孩子们在帮妈妈整理时,发现了爸爸小时候的一些玩具,其中有一颗很大的蓝色弹珠,像眼睛一样,就在这时MagicKey闪烁了,他们开始了一场惊心动魄的冒险旅程,当然这必定是和蓝色弹珠有关。
文本
P6: The magic took them to a town. They were in a narrow street. The house were close together. “I wonder where we are,” said Biff. “I don’t know,” said Wolf, “but there is nobody about. Where is everybody?”
P7: Suddenly, some men went down the street. They were shouting and yelling. Biff and Wild hid in a doorway. The men kicked open a door. They went inside one of the houses. “I wonder what they are after? ” said Wilf.
P8 A window opened upstairs. A woman climbed out. Then she jumped. She landed on an awning. She slid down it and dropped into the street. The men looked out of the window. They shouted as the woman ran away.
P9 The many ran out of the house and chased after the woman. They didn’t see Biff and Wild. “Why are they chasing that woman?” Asked Biff. Wilf saw a little package lying in the street. He picked it up. “She dropped this,” he said.
P10: Wilf undid the package. Inside was a round blue stone. It glowed as if it was on fire. Biff gasped. “It’s beautiful,” she said, “but what shall we do with it? We can’t keep it.” “No,” said Wolf. “Come on. We must find the woman and give it back.”
孩子们被MagicKey带到了一个镇上,街道非常窄,但是没有人,突然街上来了一些人,大喊大叫。他们似乎在找什么?楼上的一扇窗户开着,一个女人爬了下来,紧接着就是那帮人去追女人。
而孩子们看到了地方有一个小的包裹,是那个女人掉的。里面是什么呢?Wilf打开看到了一个圆圆的蓝色石头在发光,非常漂亮。那如何找到那个女人,把东西还给她呢?
P13 Biff looked round and saw a man in a cloak, There was something about him that made Biff look again. It was not a man. It was the woman who had jumped out of the window.
P14 “Who are you?” Asked Biff. “I am Princess Alisha. If you have found the blue stone you are in danger,” said the woman. “The stone belongs to my father,” she went on. “It was stolen from my kingdom.I came here to get it back.”
Biff和Wilf看到一个人裹着披风,原来就是那个跳出窗的女人。她是Aisha公主,因为父亲的宝石被偷,所以她到这里就是为了找到宝石并把它带回。而这时,坏人们又开始了新一轮的追赶。
P16 They sprinted down the narrow streets. The man chased after them. “Come on,” called Princess Aisha. “Go as fast as you can.” Suddenly, Biff thought of the bag of marbles. It gave her an idea.
P17 One man was catching them up. Biff thew some marbles along the ground. The man slipped on them and went crashing down. The other men fell over him in a heap.”Well done,” called Princess Aisha. “But keep running.”
Biff想到了袋子里的弹珠,她有了一个好主意,一个男人追过来的时候,Biff将一些弹珠扔在地上,那个人一下子就滑倒了,这样为他们逃走争取了时间。
P26 They jumped off the motorbike and climbed into the airplane. “Get in the front,” said Princess Aisha. “I’ll try to start the engine.” The plane began to move. “Be quick!” Cried Biff. “They’re coming again!”
P27 The men drove towards the plane. They tried to block its path. “Hold on to your seats,” called Princess Aisha. The plane took off. The men ducked as it flew over them. “Hooray,” said Princess Aisha.”We’re safe.”
几经波折,孩子们和Aisha公主终于登上了飞机,他们回到了Aisha公主的王国。
通过这个冒险故事,我们学到了什么呢?遇事动脑想办法,终究会克服困难的。另外,多掌握几项技能肯定不是坏事,比如开飞机,哈哈!
