死磕英语|王维与孟浩然英译诗

同为唐朝的山水田园诗人，熊大重王维而轻孟浩然。后者文字斧凿痕重，而前者非常自然。

偶然间翻到许渊冲先生翻译的王维与孟浩然的《竹里馆》与《宿建德江》，两首诗在内容和意境上都有相似之处，也有不同。放在一起，别有感触。

有人说诗歌是在翻译过程中失去的东西，也许确实如此，但许渊冲先生翻译也许在翻译过程中最大程度地保持了诗意与美感。

许渊冲是著名的翻译家，2014年荣获国际翻译界最高奖项“北极光”杰出文学翻译奖，是首位获得此奖的亚洲翻译家。
