Wang Yi: Are you having a good time in the USA?
Luo Ting: Hi, Wang Yi. I'm having a great time here.
Luo Ting: I'm very busy at the moment at school.
Wang Yi: What is school life like in the USA? Is it very different from that in China?
Luo Ting: There are some differences, but many things are the same.
Wang Yi: What is your average day like?
Luo Ting: Well, I usually wake up at six thirty in the morning.
Luo Ting:I get on the bus to school at seven and arrive by seven thirty.
Luo Ting: Then I have breakfest before my first class at eight o'clock.
Luo Ting: I have seven classes a day with an hour for lunch from eleven thirty.
Wang Yi: What subjects do you study?
Luo Ting: I study the same subjects as I did in China - except Chinese of course.
Wang Yi: What time do you finish school?
Luo Ting: I finish school at four, but I often stay late for other activities.
Luo Ting: I'm a member of the school Drama Club and it improves my English a lot.
Wang Yi: When does the Drama Club meet?
Luo Ting: We meet on Tuesdays and Tursdays at four thirty in the afternoon.
Wang Yi: Do you play any sport?
Luo Ting: Yes, I'm in the basketball team. We practise on Friday afternoons at five.
Luo Ting: This Saturday I'll have my first practice with the cheerleading team.
Wang Yi: What's the cheerleading team?
Luo Ting: It's a team of girls who mix dance with gymnastics.
Luo Ting: They help encourage the football players to win at games.
Wang Yi: Well, you are very good at gymnastics. I'm sure you'll be great in the team.
Luo Ting: Thanks. Well, it's getting late. I should go to bed.
