News Review On A Grad Student in A USA University

This is a news regarding a lawsuit of racial discrimination. The African American Jeremy was suspended and banned from campus due to his allegedly sexual harassment and stalking to a female classmate. His a series of behaviors made the woman uncomfortable, resulting in her complaint filing at the university. 

They met at a coffee store at first. Jeremy was offered a token by the girl, who was a staff there, for a free cup of coffee because he did not get the coffee correctly as his order. This token, told by Jeremy later in the compilation, was kept well since then by him. Days later, Jeremy asked her out for a date. His advance behavior intimidated the girl and made her uncomfortable. She declined because it was too fast. She explained to him that the line had been crossed and he delivered apologetic remarks that he read her reaction completely the wrong way. He promised to remain a friendly relationship only. 

It should be returned to normal routine since then. However, things usually do not go the way as they should. Months later, Jeremy went to his classmate. Before this, Jeremy even asked if his classmate could be his teacher for private dance lesson, undoubtedly being refused directly. His classmate dashed off to the bathroom to avoid Jeremy. So, Jeremy gave a note to her colleague in which to show his confession of love. She couldn't stand it any longer and filed the complaint at the university to accused him of sexual harassment and stalking a women.

However, Jeremy's attorney disapproved it by pointing out it was not justice because other white peers accused of sexual harassment and stalking a woman was only sentenced to half year suspending, while his punishment was far more than harsh.

Some netizens back Jeremy and doubted the procedure of the lawsuit because there was an escalation. The university's intermediate action was missing. 

Whatever, as an old Chinese proverb that a watermelon harvested prior to its maturity does not taste sweet. You should smartly quit if the girl is not happy with it. Or, you should not hurry and take the time.
