Don’t say the tall Mount Tai, and don’t say the Mount Xiang (of Beijing) with the leaves red like fire, we are only talking about the steep Wutong Mountain.
Our class of 50 classmates are going off to hike it!
The warm sunlights passes through the slots of trees, and the smell of rosewood diffuses into the air———today, is a good day for mountain climbing.
Though the elevation of the whole mountain (I mean, the main summit's vertical height) is only 943.7 meters, but the whole route are exactly 11 miles (17.6km).
At the very first mile, we didn't think that it’s tired.But, when it comes to the steep places, nearly everyone wants to give up. But, because we encouraged each other, that the plum smell fragrant because a turn through the bone cold. we finally reached the Hero’s slope at noon.
When we finally reached the summit, it’s already afternoon. And, the route from the Hero's Slope to the summit, can be called as flying sand accompanied by rolling rocks.The wind blows so hard that we can barely walk.
When we finally make our ways back to the bus, It’s already dusk.This hiking day also teaches us a lesson———never give up.
