以下几点考前如果你坚持做到了，英语四级分数会有不小的提升，给建议和听建议都是很容易的，但采纳并落实到实际行动中去，却是很难的。
很多人以为自己的英语水平无法在十天时间突破，觉得英语水平是很难在短时间突破的，但四六级考试考的并不只是英语水平，还有应试策略，有情商。语言本身的层次属于知识累积和智商的范畴，但考试分数与策略和情商有很大关系，以下几点可以帮助你有效提分：
一、听力
考前每天40分钟英语听写。并不是专四专八考试里的Direction，而是选择30组（数量酌情设置）、10组长对话进行听写。提高听力的方法并不是只去听，如果你的听力基础薄弱，请一定要把听到的内容以最快的速度写下来。一开始，可以逐句逐段播放，起步可能是痛苦的，但哪怕是一个单词一个短语也要写下来，然后暂停将几个碎片信息联系起来进行猜测练习，经过一段时间的痛苦，你的听力会取得大进步的。
考中Tips：
1.耳机一定要提前测试好！如果你听力一般也请一定买一个播放音质好一点的耳机，考中因为信号接收不好伸着脖子听听力的考生大有人在！
2.每年都有同学裸考不熟悉考试规则，听听力没有边听边涂，听完收卷的时候和老师拔河抢机读卡，切记听力边听边涂！！
二、每天坚持背单词一个半小时
很多同学会有疑问，考前只剩下一个礼拜了还背单词真的有用吗？
其实，单词什么时候背都不早，什么时候背都不晚。考前十天对单词的巩固其实十分重要，因为这样你可以保持在最近的半个月内对词汇的敏感记忆，对阅读和翻译是很有益。每天看200个四六级核心词汇，反复看，这样可以复习2000多个核心词汇，对你的这次四六级考试有巨大帮助。
三、六套真题
为什么是六套？
做近三年的六套真题最有效果。
严格按照考试规定的时间段内做题。众所周知，四六级对比考研英语侧重的是速度，后者侧重考察的是英语的深度，速度太慢，就不能保证其他版块得到理想的分数。每做完一道真题，一定要核对答案，分析自己的对错原因，总结弱点，找到做题规律。
在四六级考前的一天，做一套今年预测的仿真题练手，真题的数量是有限的，市场上模拟题褒贬不一，但真正具有权威的仿真题每年就那么几套。都都在这里友情放出，有需要的同学自行下载。

四、作文（划重点）
每年到考前最紧张的时刻，作文总是我们提分最快的好朋友。考前先练习5篇写作，必须把控在30分钟内，有能力的同学务必找老师批改。
写作中可以通过插入名言警句，提升字数又提升作文水平，两全其美，用警句取代背诵模板更加分。
并不是模板背诵就是不好的，而是考生都使用网上提供的模板，阅卷老师早已见怪不怪，如何正确使用模板成了需要学习的事。从高分句型、模板中提炼出属于自己的模板再加以背诵，插入高级句型改良，让阅卷老师眼前一亮！
