Episode 15 - How to survive when trading Forex markets w/ Joel Kruger

  • you are not performing surgery the first day you go to medical school, its a process that takes time.(it takes tremendous devotions and commitments)

  • fearful of winning position & hopeful of losing position (being humble also confident, but not over neither under)

*** The number one killer of traders is over-trading. If you keep your positions small, you will not have to close any position in loss.**

  • Lots of trading reflects your personality. Need feed strategy that complements your personality.

  • Keep it simple (people like to overcomplicate their trading, focus on just one strategy or one system, keep refining and tuning that).

Episode17: Common Traits of Million Dollar Traders & Swing Trading Major Trends w/ Jason Leavit

  • **Don't let small losses turn into big losses. **

  • find and tune your system just one ; no more and just stick to it; specializing in one area and becoming a master at it.Its what separates the professionals from the amateurs

  • Good traders become specialists (they know and apply specifics). They never deviate from this, and they do it over and over.

  • all of them have an exit strategy and also risk management. If you don't blow out your account, half the battle is won.

  • Ignore most of the information out there because most of it is just noise

  • Don't judge your own trading by win/loss, growth, but in the way you make the decisions, trade management, doing the right thing.

下面不是Aron的Chat with Traders 系列,是一些其他的视频我觉得不错的。

Trading Secrets of the Mind: Master the Emotional Side of Trading

The "fight or flight response" is our body's automatic and primitive, inborn response that prepares the body to "fight" or "flee" from perceived attack, harm or threat to our survival. Sometimes, though, we perceive threat or harm when in reality, things are totally fine.

  • Never overreact to a gain or a loss.

  • Nobody knows anything in the stock market, the herd is insecure by nature so it always looks for confirmation or support from others/group but that doesn't mean that it is the right thing to do.

Successful traders will go through the worst patch but then their determination and hard work really pays off.
