pale/pallid 美 /'pælɪd//pasty 美 /'pæsti/ 从左到右一个比一个白。pale除了形容病人有时候也会形容非常白的白人，不过肯定不是赞美了。如果一个人脸色是pasty，就是那种随时可能暴毙的。
黄色人种：
亚洲人是黄色人种，但在英文中我们不说yellow，因为它实际颜色并不是yellow，而是brown
棕色人种：
比黑色人种偏白，再比黄色人种偏黑的棕色人种，可以叫做dark brown
黑色人种：
其实黑人朋友并不是黑，只是比较深暗，所以可以用dark. 在美剧中经常听到n-bomb或nergo这个词，意思是“黑鬼”，都具有非常强烈的侮辱性，慎用。

多指被太阳晒黑的黑色皮肤
其它一些关于皮肤的词汇：
bronzed/tanned/golden/ sun－kissed 一般是指白人美黑或化妆后，古铜色的肤色。
rosy：
跑步或者喝醉时，那种玫瑰色的肤色，是个好词儿。
freckled 美 /'frekld/
长斑的皮肤，很多白人都有这个问题。
我查了一些“一白遮三丑”的解释：

“一白遮三丑” has the meaning of one major advantage can cover many some weak points.
