“大多数人都活在平静的绝望中”

梭罗说“大多数人都生活在平静的绝望中”，最近疫情当前，宅在家中，愈发感同身受。

尽管在家中可以学习读书，但却大不如图书馆那熙熙攘攘读书声的氛围。在某英语口语软件时偶然刷到《死亡诗社》的台词集锦，那一幕幕觉醒的镜头似乎就在眼前。

——“Boys, you must strive to find your own voice. Because the longer you wait to begin, the less likely you are to find it at all.”

——Thoreau said, “Most men lead lives of quiet desperation.”

Don't be resigned to that.

Break out!

平静的绝望，那或许就是得过且过的匍匐，或许就是任人施为频频点头的“无我”，或许就是茫茫海上之路的黑暗无边。

“find your own voice”，发现你自己的声音，不人云亦云，不随声附和，敢于说出自己的观点；找到自己的人生之舵，金钱、商业、法律……作为你的维生之本，但美、爱情、浪漫、诗歌才是我们为之而活着的东西。

“I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life!

我希望活的深刻，汲取所有生命之精髓

To put to rout all that was not life. And not when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.”

去击溃所有非生命的事物。以免在生命终结时，才发现自己从没活过。

Oh, to have life henceforth the poem of new joys.

让今后的生命如喜悦的诗。

To be a sailor of the world bound for all ports.

做世界的水手，游遍所有的港口。
