Task 2 of IELTS on Feb1.2018

题目：

Figures show that some countries have an ever-increasing proportion of the population who are aged 15 or younger.What do you  are the current and future effects of this trend for those countries?

坡姐范文：

It is true that a stable proportion of the population of all ages plays a significant role in maintainng the societal development .Yet some countries have witnessed a rise in the number of younger generations ,mostly under 15.

As far as I am concerned , this tendency has widespread repercussions on society currently .To commence with , a growing percentage of young people bring heavy burden on families ,both financially and mentally ,those middle class in particular . No doubt that  nowadays every parent desires their children to receive high-quality education ,which invariably requires solid material foundation .But more children mean more pressure ,therefore this phenomenon sadly renders the parents helpless. 

      

In addition , another big concern ,in my view ,is probable rising rate of youth cirme. Since these teenagers have big difficulty in distinguishing between what is right and what is wrong ,they are more likely to go astray without parental guidance .So in these countries parents need spare more time in accompanying and teaching their offspring so that they do not feel lonely or anxious .

In terms of future effects , there exists both positive and  negative ones. On one hand ,after their graduation from schools, they will grow into indispensable labor force ,which will constitute important construction power of a nation .On the other hand , they are bound to face fierce competition from their peers .In seeking for a job, they may find hundreds of candidates applying for just one vacancy .Some of them may end up with depression and frustration that will exert destructive influence on their later adult life .

Overall , this special "youngnism" do bring us unexpected effects .As supervisors and close friends of these young population ,parents should strike a good balance between work and family ,in order to create their children a healthy and harmonious environment .
