我翻译的《道德经》第六十四章（4）

原文:

为者败之，执者失之。是以圣人无为故无败，无执故无失。

译文:

想要施以强有力的统治，往往会把事情弄糟;想要掌控一切，反而会失去一切。所以有道的领导者不会妄自作为，就不会失败，不妄图掌控一切，就不会失去。

我的翻译:

If you want to take  a strong rule , you will 

make a mess .

If you want to control everything, you will

lose it.

So a good leader doesn't act in vain,

and he won't fail.

A good leader doesn't attempt to control

everything, and  he won't  lose it.
