Talking about some important qualities of a good leader

From my point of view, when I work in the company, I have a desire that a good leader can lead me to finish the work in wisdom and improve my working abilities. However, impossible of course everyone is leaded by a good leader. In actual career, various type leaders may be met and everyone has different point on a good leader topic. In my opinion, I imagine a leader having the following qualities.

First, strong responsibility is vital. A good leader need to be bold in undertaking duties. It means that good performances his team gains should belong to all members instead of the team leader and all mistakes the team members commit should be thought that the leader lacks management skill. A good leader should have this quality sense to lead the team. Otherwise, his team members maybe lack trust to him and do any work against his arrangement. On the other hand, if a leader is willing to bear responsibility for his subordinates, they will try their best to finish all working the leader gives, because they will be even less willing to disappoint their leader.

Second, keeping calm is another important quality. We all know that certainly it is inevitable to meet with complex difficulties during the working. A good leader must keep calm to face all these setbacks. In the face of difficulties, the leader should be completely unafraid. Not only he can listen to other’s suggestions, but also he must have some special opinions from himself.

In the third side, if a leader is a learned manager, his knowledges certainly have a good influence to his team members and I strongly agree this point. It’s very important for a good leader to keep on updating his new knowledge on the management skill. When a leader insists in training his employees to finish the work perfectly through new solutions. Not only his ability continues to be improved, but also his team members have a stronger experience to deal with the work. So, the leader will have more time to plan longer term goals. Under the leader like this quality, his team will bring better efficiency.

A final point, unity is the guarantee of team’s success. A good leader must have strong unity consciousness. So long as the leader motivates the team members’ working passion, collective intelligence can be given of his best.

In conclusion, a good leader means the team should be able to avoid working harder or longer to achieve the long-term goals. The working will be more effectively. The points above are my personal views. I also look forward to receiving more comments on this topic.
