Visual Studio 2010 SP1适用于Visual Studio 2010的所有版本，其改进如下：

1. 采用了新的帮助查看器；

2. 提供了更好的平台支持；

3. 新增了对Silverlight 4工具的支持；

4. IntelliTrace支持64位和SharePoint；

5. 添加了大量Windows 7专用MFC APIs，以支持Direct2D、DirectWrite和Windows Animation动画技术；

6. 支持.NET 3.5下的单元测试（unit test）、VB Compiler运行时(runtime)的switch。
