The 1000BASE-SX (short wavelength) GBIC module operates on standard multimode fiber-optic link spans of up to 1804 feet (550 m).
SFP and GBIC Long Wavelength Modules
The 1000BASE-LX/LH (long wavelength/long haul) GBIC module interfaces fully comply with the IEEE 802.3z 1000BASE-LX standard. However, their higher optical quality allows them to reach 6.2 miles (10 km) over single-mode fiber (SMF) versus the 3.1 miles (5 km) specified in the standard.
SFP and GBIC Extended Wavelength Modules
The 1000BASE-ZX (extended wavelength) GBIC module operates on ordinary single-mode fiber-optic link spans of up to 43.5 miles (70 km).

Cisco3845设备选型
对于数据E1，可以用选配以下三种模块：
-1）.HWIC-2T

CAB-SS-V35MT V.35 Cable, DTE Male to Smart Serial, 10 Feet 2
注意：
如果是HWIC-2T，则选配CAB-SS-V35MT(Smart Serial，小串口)，一条E1，则CAB-SS-V35MT * 1；两条E1，则CAB-SS-V35MT * 2
如果是HWIC-1T，则选配CAB-V35MT(大串口)，一条E1对应一根CAB-V35MT

如果客户希望2M进行时隙划分，推荐使用VWIC-2MFT-G703，它可以工作在成帧(分时隙)模式，也可以工作在非成帧(2M净通道)模式

注意：
VWIC2-2MFT-T1/E1比HWIC-2T价格贵，但是可以承载语音载荷
如果是VOICE线路，推荐用这种卡。接口有RJ48(RJ45)和BNC两种，项目中需要先跟Teleco协商：如果是电口，就可以用网线互联；如果是BNC口，则用同轴电缆互联
VWIC2-2MFT-T1/E1插入路由器以后默认不会激活，需要输入以下命令激活：

-5).如何为Cisco3845选配以太网模块
在Dynamical Configuration Tools里可以看到有三种模块可供选择，区别如下
HWIC-4ESW(425$) PUG approved
Four port 10/100 Ethernet switch interface card
这个最便宜，先将将端口分配到vlan，然后在Layer3 SVI上创建三层连接。HWIC-4ESW一共有4个ports，每个port放到一个vlan，所以我们可以得到4个三层连接端口。

注意：HWIC-4ESW虽然可以实现三层连接，但是不能用它来做WAN连接，如果是和ISP对接，则需要选用下边的两种模块：
HWIC-2FE(1450$)
Two 10/100 routed port HWIC
FastEthernet，路由端口，天生就是拿来跑IGP的！
NM-2FE2W-V2(3200$)
2 port 10/100 Ethernet with 2 WAN Card Slot Network Module
用起来和HWIC-2FE差不多，都能实现三层连接，但是价钱贵了不少，不知道Cisco推这个东东干嘛用的
