Goldengate的一大卖点就是可以实现在线的数据迁移,这意味着在整个过程中我们无需关闭数据库,甚至于无需停止应用。在 <How to create a GoldenGate uni-directional target database in a production database zero downtime>中,大致介绍了实现零下线时间数据迁移所涉及的步骤,包括:
- 在source与target主机上完成OGG的初始化配置
- 创建extract及exttrail
- 创建pump
- 启动本地extract和pump
- 创建带有HANDLECOLLISIONS参数的replicat,但不启动它
- 完成数据的initial load即数据初始化
- 启动replicat
- 当replicat追上extract后取消replicat的HANDLECOLLISIONS参数
