《Leadership and the One Minute Manager》读书笔记之二

     除了上文提到的三大要素之外,KB博士还提出了成为Situational Leader的三个秘诀,即3个一分钟管理: One minute goals/ One minute praisings/ One minute reprimands。原文是这样描述其作用的:The three secrets of one minute managment make situational leadership a dynamic model.

GOALS start performance in the right direction and permit manager to analyze a person’s competence and commitment (development level) to perform well.

PRAISINGS foster improvements in the  development level of individuals and permit a manager to gradually change his/her leadership style from more direction (directing) to less direction and more support (coaching and supporting) to less derection and less support (delegating).

REPRIMANDS stop poor performance and may mean that a manager has to gradually move back from less direction and less support (delegating) to more support (supporing) or more direction (coaching and directing).
