mac os x上virtualbox 不能启动 guest os XP

  我的环境如下：

  在Mac OS X 10.8.3，VirtualBox 4.2.12 ，运行XP的映像，有天突然对应的虚拟机，不能启动，提示如下：

 NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0x80004005) from Virtual Box startup

  解决办法：

   $ sudo /Library/StartupItems/VirtualBox/VirtualBox restart

  重新启动VirtualBox，运行XP虚拟机，恢复正常。

The trick, according to GitHub user lslucas, is to restart VirtualBox from the command line like so:

1	$ sudo /Library/StartupItems/VirtualBox/VirtualBox restart

That worked like a champ for me, and I was immediately able to get back to work.

For what it’s worth, here’s my current software config:

• VirtualBox 4.2.16
• Vagrant 1.2.2
• Mac OS X 10.8.4
