The word justice is usually associated with the court of law. When we say that justice
has been served, we mean that someone has been treated fairly or has been granted a punishment they deserve. Justice plays an important role in the legal system.
Sometimes justice is not proceeding smoothly as judges who are like other human can make mistakes.

Whether a citizen's complaint is justified depends on the action taken by the judges.
There are rare cases when judgement is made quite independent of human
interference. At such times, justice has been down on its own. The English language possesses a saying to describe this sort of situation. It is called 'it serves him right'. It
explains that a certain set of circumstances has enabled justice to act of its own accord. For instance. When a thief was caught on the spot one morning, the assistants of a
large jewelry store must have found it straightforward to say 'it serves him right'. There were so many narrow chimneys in this shop that the thief had got stuck in one of
the chimneys when he had tried to break into the shop during the night. He had been
there for nearly ten hours until a shop assistant heard his muffled cries at midday and
told the manager about the cries. The fire brigade were called in and the thief was
eventually freed by cutting a huge hole in the wall. Justice had been done even before
the man was handed over to the police.
