• Think LeBron, but less athletic and more skilled. Better passer, better handles, better post game, and remember there was no rule against hand checking back then. The dude would absolutely live in the lane.

  魔术师是身体素质弱化版，技术强化版的乐邦。魔术师的传球更好，能打低位，再说那时候还没有禁止hand checking。魔术师到现在来照样能在禁区内兴风作浪。

• lol he would get worked on defense so bad. lane scoring is harder now also, unless youre one of those people that think hand check is tougher than zone defense (for some strange reason).

  哈哈他在防守端是个漏勺。低位进攻现在也更难了，除非你觉得hand check比联防更难搞（出于某些奇怪的想法）。

• You guys act like he played so long ago. He would do fine. He'd be a bit of a defensive liability, but he was back then as well, and he was still the best player in the league.

  As if Harden or Kyrie or Curry are lockdown defenders that the 80s had no idea about.

He'd be a top five player no doubt, maybe top three. His biggest weaknesses, defense and three point shooting, would be problematic in today's league, but everything else would be good enough to keep him elite.

• He was a 6'9" PG with elite handles and passing along with elite finishing, so basically a more coordinated Blake Griffin.

• Interesting that you choose Blake as the comparison over LeBron who seems like the better fit for Magic's skill set.

  Magic had better handles, LeBron is stronger and more explosive, but they're pretty damn similar.

I think there is a lot of underrating Magic in this thread the guy is a legit top 5 greatest player ever not just a "worse lebron" defense wasn't his calling card but he was a complete sieve he would be guarding SFs not PGs which is where he actually struggled. He'd lead the league in assists that's for sure and probably average 22 points and 8 rebounds

  If you think LeBron is in the same league as Magic when it comes to passing, you need to go watch some game tape. LeBron is a tremendous playmaker with the ability to make some incredible passes. But he is NOT Magic Johnson.

• The only thing I could really say is that he wouldn't be a Point Guard. At a rookie level, he'd likely have been converted to a wing/SF. Doesn't mean he wouldn't be able to do whatever he wanted with the basketball.

• I think in today's game, he would fit better as a point forward that runs the offense, so you can still have a scoring pg to attack the lane. Easier to hide his defense when there are less skilled wings then pgs

• Magic would dominate. We know Magics skills then add in the new Nba rules that absolutely favor the offense. Just imagine if Chris Paul was 6'9 that's pretty much what Magic Johnson would be, an absolute nightmare

91年总决赛G1禅师就是让MJ错位主防魔术师，因为帕克森肯定防不住

但MJ都防得很吃力，随后几场禅师让皮蓬主防魔术师，才有那些经典贴防镜头；

MJ在87年拿最佳防守后到91稳定一防，一双鬼手断得众多后卫哭天喊地，面对魔术师的背打依然没有太好办法，我不知道那些人是怎么得出结论魔术师在如今就运球差还不如格里芬了。

基本是联盟第一人的水准，乐邦和他有的一拼，但如果有韦德和波什做队友，我不认为魔术师会错失11-14年之间任何一个冠军。问我为什么？因为5>2。

用魔术师的话来说，自己会打爆联盟所有的后卫，虽然肯定有吹牛的成分，但是我依然认为他可以做到。

魔术师，贾巴尔，张伯伦，乔丹，奥胖、邓肯，詹姆斯，科比这类的球员，身体顶级+天赋顶级+篮球智商顶级+自制力超强+很少受伤的属性=成功5要素，上述球员基本最少占了4样，所以，无论在哪个时代都会成功的。

不要说什么远古时代球队少球员身体素质普遍差、黑白时代没防守，乔丹时代没联防，说那些都没用，以他们的身体素质、天赋、篮球智商、努力程度，配上现代的医疗、饮食、训练等客观因素，他们只会比别人更强。

三大C就不说了，现在联盟的C们也就敢比比弹跳力和身体素质。

现在流行3分球，如果乔丹认为是必要的话，以乔丹超级偏执狂的态度他会练不好三分？

魔术师左手运球差、防守差？左手控球现在在高中大学时的教练们就可以练过来了，防守？联盟中游水平没问题吧。

把詹姆斯科比阿杜扔远古去，他们也会成功，毕竟天赋和努力摆在那里。

就算你是物理学的博士你也千万别不要认为你比6、70年前的爱因斯坦更牛逼。
