What two interruptions did the writer have?

After breakfast, I sent the children to school and then I went to the shops. It was still early when I returned home. The children were at school, my husband was at work and the house was quiet. So I decided to make some meat pies. In a short time, I was busy mixing the butter and flour and my hands were soon covered with sticky pastry. At exactly that moment, the telephone rang. Nothing could have been more annoying. I picked up the receiver between two sticky fingers and was dismayed when I recognized the voice of Helen Bates. It took me ten minutes to persuade her to ring back later. At last I hang up the receiver. What a mess. There was pastry on my fingers, on the telephone and on the doorknobs. I had no sooner got back to the kitchen than the doorbell rang loud enough to wake the dead. This time it was the postman and he wanted me to sign for a registered letter.

1./w/:舌后部向软腭抬起,但不抵住,双唇收圆并向前突出,声带振动

2./h/ : 发音时气流自由溢出口腔,只有通过声门时发生轻微摩擦;口型不定,依据后面的原因变化;清辅音;发音像是哈气

3./l/:舌尖紧贴上齿龈,舌前部靠近硬腭;发音时候气流从舌两侧泄出;声带振动;

4.annoying:恼人的;dismayed:感到失望的

5.no sooner ·····than:刚······就········

练习感悟

这两天看美剧,对于以前觉得是一坨坨的句子,开始有点儿清晰了,而我真正专注练习每个发音(求质不求量)才不过三天。总想着快,却总是不快,慢下来,突然就快了。
