10月25日，交通运输部发布了《城市轨道交通客运组织与服务管理办法》，旨在规范乘客行为。新规中的一项为禁止乘客在车厢内外放音乐和视频。其他规定还包括禁止除婴儿、病人外的乘客在列车内进食等条款。新规定将从明年4月1日起施行。

On Oct 25, the Ministry of Transport introduced a new regulation to regulate passengers’ behavior on subways. One of the new conduct rules forbids subway riders from playing music or videos on speakers that others can hear. Other rules forbid riders from eating or drinking in subway cars, with exceptions for infants and people with certain medical conditions. The new policy goes into effect on April 1 of next year.

10月31日，中国三大手机运营商中国移动、中国联通以及中国电信一同开启5G正式商用服务。据悉，5G套餐价格从每月128元-599元不等，用户可以享受更快网速和更低廉的流量费用。据新华网报道，5G技术在我国备受期待，到2025年我国预计将有超过6亿的5G用户。（详情戳这里）

On Oct 31, China’s three major mobile operators, China Mobile, China Unicom and China Telecom, jointly kicked off the official commercialization of 5G services. They also unveiled monthly 5G plans, with prices ranging from 128 to 599 yuan per month. Subscribers will be able to enjoy faster connections and cheaper data. With high expectations for the new communication technology, the country expects to have more than 600 million 5G subscribers by 2025, Xinhua reported.

电子烟网售禁令

在全球卫生部门纷纷就电子烟对公众健康的潜在影响发出警告之际，中国敦促企业和电商平台停止在网上销售电子烟，以遏制未成年人吸食电子烟。中国的烟草和市场监管部门要求电子烟生产、销售企业或个人及时关闭电子烟互联网销售网站或客户端；敦促电商平台及时关闭电子烟店铺，并将电子烟产品及时下架。监管部门还要求撤回通过互联网发布的电子烟广告。监管机构表示，很多电子烟企业以年轻人为目标，用"帮助戒烟"、"健康无害"等广告误导他们。此外，很多电子烟企业将电子烟标榜为"时尚"、"潮流"的代表以吸引年轻人。

China called on companies and e-commerce platforms to stop selling e-cigarettes online, in a bid to curb underage vaping as global health authorities raise alarms about its potential effect on public health. China's tobacco and market regulators ordered companies and individuals making or selling vaping products to close down their sales websites and mobile apps and e-commerce platforms to shut e-cigarette shops and remove all products.It also called for the withdrawal of online e-cigarette ads. Many e-cigarette companies target young people, misleading them with ads suggesting that their products are harmless aids to wean people off smoking, the regulator said.Many portray e-cigarettes as fashionable and trendy to attract minors, it added.
