What impressed me the most about Haw was his self-mockery. At very beginning Haw was just like his panter refusing to accept change and scaring to move on. But he started to change as soon as he learned to laugh at himself and at what he was doing wrong.
He constantly laughed at his folly and learned from it. Even when he finally found the new cheese station he didn't get dizzy with success, he was always prepared to laugh at his folly and adapt to change. That's what I have learned from Haw the most.

From the section 7 of the story, we can see that Haw finally found a new Cheese station with a great supply of Cheese and had learnt how to deal with change well. The story is coming to an end, we have learnt a lot from his experience.
Some fear should be respected, as it can keep us out of real danger. However, most of our fears are irrational and have kept us from changing when we need to. We do not need to overcomplicate matters or confuse ourselves with fearful beliefs. We should notice when the little changes begin so that we would be better prepared for the big change that might be coming. Although we do not like change, sometimes it would turn out to be a blessing in disguise as it can lead us to find better Cheese.
Human being is the most complicated creature on the earth, thus we won’t deal with changes so easily, just like Sniff and Scurry. However, we can act like Haw, that is, letting go of the past and adapting to the present.

During the part, Haw finds the greatest supply of cheese he has ever seen. He enjoys the new cheese, and he reflects on what he has learned.
He goes over and writes down a summary of what he has learned on the largest wall of Cheese Station N. We ought to learn from Haw.

When we go past our fear and enjoy different choices ,we will find it unnecessary to over analyse and over complicate unexpected changes.Just go for what we want and stop thinking too much of what we haven't expected.Sometimes simplifying procedures or our ways of thinking is a good way to face the changeable society.

He knew he had learned something useful about moving on from his mice friends, Sniff and Scurry. They kept life simple. They didn't over analyze or over complicate things. When the situation changed and the Cheese had been moved, they changed and moved with the Cheese. He would remember that.
