专家们都说：“戏剧是教英文最有效，最欢乐的方式。” ，但是到底怎么做？

如果你也有上面的困惑，2018年7月18日-20日，英国华威大学Joe Winston教授应饭米多蔻的邀请，将第二次来到苏州，为大家带来为期三天的英文戏剧教学工作坊。

本次工作坊，将结合基础的教育戏剧方法和可实操性强的课堂戏剧游戏，遵循不同年龄阶段孩子的引导方法，向大家展示教育戏剧和儿童英文教学。

培训目标：

This three-day program will concentrate on strategies for using drama to support the teaching of English to children of 3 – 7 years of age

此次工作坊将主要探讨如何用戏剧支持针对3-7岁儿童的英语教学，将为各位带来：

A range of highly practical and playful drama activities directly transferable to the classroom;

能够直接运用于课堂的实用、好玩的多种戏剧活动；

How to adapt stories and picture books suitable for drama work with children in this age range;

针对3-7年龄段学员，如何运用绘本开展渐进式戏剧活动和英语学习；

How to structure learning activities to maintain children’s engagement throughout a teaching session;

如何构建课程教学活动，使孩子专注于你的课程，提高课堂参与度；

How to structure English language learning as part of the drama work;

如何将英语语言学习融入到戏剧活动架构；

How to use drama to motivate young children’s use of English in the classroom；

如何使用戏剧，激发孩子们英文学习的乐趣，在课堂上的语言学习；

Manageable ways for children to perform for parents and other interested adults.

如何将课堂戏剧活动转化成可以实现的表演，并展示给家长等。

工作坊内容

 DAY 1 ：《我们一起捉狗熊》（We’re Going on a Bear Hunt） 

《We’re Going on a Bear Hunt》

We will begin by exploring a variety of games and songs, all suitable for children of this age, considering what and how they teach children about (a) doing drama and (b) listening, understanding and speaking English. We will also reflect upon how they can be adapted for different stories and language topics before moving on to work with this popular and well-known book, which is perfect for a range of drama and language activities. Our work will take advantage of the book’s enjoyable use of repetitive and rhythmic language to encourage vocabulary and syntax development in young children. We will use a number of games that are intended to develop drama skills as well as English language. The work will be structured to include simple props that help structure the journey of the bear hunt within the workspace of the classroom. The scheme naturally evolves into a final performance for parents or other interested adults.

我们将一起从歌曲和游戏开始，探讨孩子英文学习的各种方面，思考如何利用经典绘本中的童谣和韵律，构建孩子的英文词汇和语法；如何通过游戏，让孩子的英文表达和戏剧技巧得到提升，并且可以自然，轻松地在家长面前表演英文戏剧。

DAY 2 ：《夜里的Max》(Max and the Night)

《 Max and the Night 》

Max is a kitten who doesn’t quite yet understand how the world works and this story follows his adventures as he tries to say good night to the moon. The workshop will explore a particular model of working with picture books, page by page, using a range of drama activities aimed at the learning of specific vocabulary and language patterns. The work will culminate in participants working in groups to make simple puppets and artefacts to perform a scripted version of the story.

Max是只小猫咪，他对这个世界了解的很少。绘本展现了Max尝试与月亮说晚安的历险旅程。工作坊将基于经典绘本的每一页，引导大家探索如何构建戏剧游戏，并让孩子感受、学习绘本中相应的词汇和语言。最后，我们将一起进行简单的手偶制作和艺术手工，表演绘本故事。

DAY 3 ：《滑稽的骨头》（Funny Bones [ Janet and Allan Ahlberg ] ）

《 Funny Bones [ Janet and Allan Ahlberg ]  》

This is another classic picture book that follows the adventures of a group of skeletons as they journey around the town at night. Its comic nature is very appealing to children and it can be used to introduce a range of vocabulary in physical and playful ways and as the basis for puppet making and for simple performance work, including movement and singing.

一本经典的绘本，讲述了几个骷髅人在镇上的黑夜冒险之旅。工作坊将带领大家探索通过肢体和戏剧游戏的方式来引入和教授绘本中的词汇并引导3-7岁的孩子通过制作手偶，肢体展现，以及吟唱歌谣来表演绘本故事。

导师介绍

Joe Winston

英国华威大学（The University of Warwick）教育学院，教育戏剧和剧场（Drama and Theatre education）专业教授和负责人，博士生导师。在任职华威大学以前，担任了多年的小学老师和校长，曾担任华威大学教育学院主任。也曾任最高级别学术类杂志应用《戏剧和表演》（Journal of Applied Theatre and Performance）联合主编。其著作有《美与教育》，《开始玩戏剧4-11岁》《开始莎士比亚4-11岁》《5-11岁的戏剧，语文和道德教育》等等。Winston教授受英国皇家莎士比亚剧团邀请，以莎士比亚剧本为基础，设计并执行过多部针对青少年和幼儿的教育戏剧和剧场项目。同时，他与英国皇家莎士比亚剧团教育部门合作出版的新著，作为在英国极有名望的Arden Shakespeare 系列的一部分已经在英国出版并将被翻译成多国文字。Winston教授也是一位在培训老师如何运用教育戏剧和剧场领域极有国际声誉的教授，曾受邀到台湾台南大学，香港演艺学院，北京师范大学，南京师范大学，上海东华大学，上海戏剧学院，四川大学，泰国教育部等地进行工作坊教学和讲座，并且长期担任新加坡国家青年戏剧节的海外评审委员，现为北京师范大学应用戏剧研究中心学术顾问。

培训对象：主要针对戏剧工作者、绘本馆从业者、儿童教育工作者，及感兴趣的家长。
