2019-12-06 Chapter 4-The Great Gatsby

I only read two pages of the very beginning of this chapter today. It tells several people who came to Gatsby's house in the summer. Names, backgrounds, and several stories are preparing for something maybe important but not cannot be pinned down yet.

There's an interesting word which I intended to talk about but I didn't showing up here, bootlegger. To be honest, bootleg, I didn't know exactly the meaning of it until looking it up in a dictionary, meaning to make or sell something illegally, especially for terms of alcohol, discs, cigarettes, etc. As a word to describe Mr. Gatsby, the Great, it is not a very good one, though. People still keep telling bad stories of his -killing people, bootlegging- and coming to his house for parties. Strange yet it brings more mysteries and makes Gatsby more mysterious every time by people talking and coming in that way.
