AppDynamics Essentials

• AppDynamics continuously discovers and monitors your Application environment across your distributed transactions so you can see bottlenecks and problems. Dashboards show the health of your entire business Application.

Application Health

• The All Applications Dashboard displays Business Transaction and server health for each Application. View a dashboard to see details such as events, transaction scorecard, exceptions, and performance graphs for load, response time, and errors.

Business Transaction Health

• AppDynamics automatically tracks your Application logic as Business Transactions. Business Transactions appear on the Business Transactions List, a configurable list that shows the key performance indicators (KPIs) during a selected time range.

Memory Usage

Slow Transactions

• You can view slow, very slow, or stalled transactions on the Slow Transactions list. You can also see associated transaction snapshots.

Error Transactions

• Transactions are marked as an error if the there is an unhandled exception, a logged error of a configured severity, or an exception during an exit call that prevents the transaction from working properly.

Health Rule Violations

• A health rule violation exists when the conditions that define the rule are true. When this happens, the health rule is said to "violate" and the AppDynamics displays a notification of that violation.

Default Health Rules

Create a Policy
