Why was the writer's aunt surprised?
It was Sunday. I never get up early on Sundays. I sometimes stay in bed until lunchtime. Last Sunday I got up very late. I looked out of the window. It was dark outside. 'What a day!' I thought. 'It's raining again.' Just then, the telephone rang. It was my aunt Lucy. 'I've just arrived by train,' she said. 'I'm coming to see you.'
'But I'm still having breakfast,' I said.
'What are you doing?' she asked.
'I'm having breakfast,' I repeated.
'Dear me,' she said. 'Do you always get up so late? It's one o'clock!'

介词 on 一般用于表示某一天的时间短语中
比如 on Monday, on Friday morning, on Saturday afternoon, on Sunday evening
当我们使用 last/ next/ this/ that 时，介词必须省略
比如 I'll meet you this Friday. / Last Sunday I got up late.
Sundays, 复数表示有不止一个星期天，说明常常

这是个感叹句，其实有一个公式What + adj. + n. +主语 + 谓语！ 但是实际上常常省略了后面的主语和谓语
比如： What an interesting play (it is)! What a beautiful girl (she is)!
我们前面这两个例子都是可数名词play 和 girl 的单数形式， 所以在前面加上 an 或者是 a
如果是不可数名词或者是可数名词的复数i形式，就直接加形容词就好了
比如： What fools they are!
还有常用的感叹句是用How 开头的，也有公式 How + adj. / adv. + 主语 + 谓语！
这个和我们四川话里的感叹句其实很像，
比如：“好乖噢这个女娃娃！” How beautiful/ adorable the girl is!
