In Western Christianity, Easter always falls on a Sunday between 22 March and 25 April inclusive, within about seven days after the astronomical full moon. The following day, Easter Monday, is a legal holiday in many countries with predominantly Christian traditions.

Easter customs vary across the Christian world, and include sunrise services, and decorating Easter eggs, a symbol of the empty tomb. But you don't need to be a Christian to celebrate Easter. Many non-Christians in America also take part in the celebration as Easter has become a child-friendly holiday with activities such as egg hunting, the Easter Bunny, and Easter parades. Every year, the White House also organizes an Easter celebration called the Easter Egg Roll where parents can take their children to the White House Lawn and hunt for eggs with the President and the First Family.

复活节每年的日期都不一样，但是在西方基督教世界，它总是在3月22日到4月25日之间，具体日期根据天文历法计算。复活节后的周一，在很多基督教国家也是公共假日。
