我们提倡快乐学英语，而生活中并不总是快乐的。最近许多地方被水淹得很厉害，今天我们来学习一下关于自然灾害的英语。

暴雨，rainstorm.洪水，flood.最近下了好多天的暴雨，It's been raining heavily many days.

海啸,tsunami,seaquake.火山爆发, volcanic explosion,volcanic eruption.地震，earthquake.

死亡，die,dead,death.许多人在这次地震中死亡，A lot of people died in this earthquake.

生存，存活，survive,alive.他在这次海啸中存活下来了。He survived in this tsunami, now he is still alive.

求救，帮助，help.有的人在深山或者海边遇到困难，需要别人帮助，会在地上画个很大的SOS，别人看到了就知道他在求救。如果是在电话或者无线通讯中，求救一般会说：Mayday,mayday, I need help!

拯救,save,rescue. 你拯救了我的生命。You saved my life.我们需要去拯救其他人。We need to rescue the others.

感谢，thanks, thank you. 感谢上天，Thank God.

损失，lose,loss.许多家庭在这次地震中损失巨大。Many families lost a lot of money in the earthquake.幸运的是他们还是完整的家庭，没有损失任何亲人。Luckily, they were still complete families, without losing anyone.

我们需要坚强起来，重建家园。We need to be strong, and rebuild our homes.

有信心就有希望，明天又是新的一天。With confidence there is hope, tomorrow is a another day.
