上一篇文章A Near Neighbor is Better Than a Distant Cousin存在的问题，感谢我的表弟崔成老师（英语专业八级）指出：
一、错误
原句：He was reading for a while
修正：He read a book for a while
原因：语病
原句：he fell asleep and he was having a sweet dream
修正：he fell asleep and had a sweet dream
原因：and连接的并列成分，时态不一致
原句：he arrived the hospital
修正：hearrived at the hospital
原因：arrive是不及物动词，应该是arrive at the hospital。注意：arrive home中的home是副词，所以不能加介词。
原句：Jim told the doctor that Grandpa Wang's illness
修正：Jim told the doctor about Grandpa Wang’s condition
原因：That后面应该接从句
二、建议（本建议感谢胡晓光老师指出）
句号逗号还是分的不很清楚。句号的使用，最简单的辨别方法就是：如果上面已经有完整的主谓宾结构，那么后面你要么用从句，要么直接句号结束。
另：在使用标点符号时，格式上需遵循一定的标准。如：句点、逗号、冒号、分号都是前无空格，后面空一格。

Everything Comes to Him Who Waits
Mary is a 16 years old American girl with yellow hairs, blue eyes and white skin.She is a little beauty.
She has an interest in Chinese culture very much, because her father is a Chinese. So Mary came to reside in China with her family when she was 12.
Last year, Mary was 15 years old.It was the third year of Mary lived in China. One day, Mary made a decision——learning Chinese.
First of all, Mary learned Spoken-Chinese. It was very difficult for her, so she studied and practiced Chinese anywhere and anytime.She worked really hard.
Everything comes to him who waits. As a result of Mary's hard work, Mary can speak Chinese very well this year.
Last Sunday, it was sunny outside. Mary went to visit the Summer Palace with her parents.Mary was very happy because it was her first time to visit the Summer Palace which she saw in the books many times.
The Summer Palace was very beautiful, there were flowers, trees, rivers, birds and children everywhere. Being here, Mary's whole body felt refreshed. The place is Heaven on Earth.
Not far away, Mary saw a lot of students were playing football, so she joined them, played with them together. Very soon, they became good friends. Mary was so happy that she had an unforgettable weekend on that day.
That's our little Mary, a beautiful American girl who is living in China and likes China very much.

功夫不负有心人
Mary是一个有着一头黄发，一双蓝色眼睛和白白皮肤的16岁美国女孩。她是个小美人。
她对中国的文化很感兴趣，因为她的父亲就是中国人。所以在她12岁那年，她和她的家人一起来到中国定居。
去年，Mary15岁了，那是她在中国生活的第三年。一天，Mary做出一个决定——学中文。
首先，Mary学习汉语中的口语，这对她很难，所以她无时无刻不在学习和练习中文。她真的非常努力。
功夫不负有心人，作为努力学习的回报，Mary今年已经可以把中文说得很好了。
上个星期天，外面一片晴好，Mary和她的爸爸妈妈一起去颐和园游玩。Mary非常开心，因为这是她第一次来颐和园，这个她在书里看过一遍又一遍的地方。
颐和园里真的很美，到处都是花草树木，小河小鸟，还有很多小朋友。置身这里，Mary整个人都觉得神清气爽。这里真是人间天堂。
不远处，Mary看见很多学生在踢足球，所以她加入了他们，和他们一起玩。很快，她和他们成为了好朋友。Mary非常开心，那个周末她终身难忘。
这就是我们的小Mary，一个住在中国并喜欢中国的漂亮美国女孩。
