ADJ If you feel queasy or if you have a queasy stomach, you feel sick, as if you are going to throw up.

To skive; to play truant; to slack off.

4.dollop

N-COUNT A dollop of soft or sticky food is a large spoonful of it.

5.surly

ADJ Someone who is surly behaves in a rude bad-tempered way.

ADJ If someone does something such as speak or smile in a conspiratorial way, they do it in a way that suggests they are sharing a secret with someone.

N-COUNT A crescendo is a noise that gets louder and louder. Some people also use crescendo to refer to the point when a noise is at its loudest.

substance that is released in the body of a person who is feeling a strong emotion (such as excitement, fear, or anger) and that causes the heart to beat faster and gives the person more energy

ADJ If you are elated, you are extremely happy and excited because of something that has happened.

10.trance

N-COUNT A trance is a state of mind in which someone seems to be asleep and to have no conscious control over their thoughts or actions, but in which they can see and hear things and respond to commands given by other people.
