Today, I spent almost half of my day translating news of attacks in Paris from the tweets in the Guardian website, all written by reporters and journalists on the spot. This carnage happended in Paris bears portentous meanings which will definitely change the climate in Europe again and may shift everyone's paradigm towards the chaos in the Middle East. And all those people who logged and presented this attack would make a difference, no matter to themselves or to the public. All those ideas and faith insetted in each news item are individually small, however, collectively powerful.

I stand in awe of the writers. In the current world where most fighters don't have to engage in a battle with swords and flesh, they are the true heros. I don't know if most people realize the responsibilities and obligations as reporters and journalists. They are the fronter fighters who need to be on the spot, confronting with the vice face to face, they the eligible writers who need to bring the vivid and first-hand picture of the scenes into the readers' or listeners' minds, making them feel they are totally involved instead of being some standoff audiences.

I still remember that in the old back days when gender skew was still far from being a pain in the ass and gender equality was just on the track, my ultimate Chinese dream was to become a war correspondent. For millions of reasons, I hustled if off my mind. And now when I thought of it again, amusingly, all the possibilities of being a correspondent is so real and touchy. Why amusingly? Because I thought that as one ages, one's road would change from multiple lanes into a single lane, being more realistic and focused, however, I found myself allow more possibilities and chances off-ramp into my track of life. I am gay that I haven't been moulded. I am jubilant that the box of my own is taking shape, yet I am able to think outside of the box in most cases.

Recently, there is a giant job fair hosted on the campus. I want to visit the various stalls of different companies, but with no intent to get a formal job for myself. To me, the first year after graduation from college deserves to be something distinctive, being able to leave a memoriable and commendable dent in my whole life span. I am looking forward to it and trying my best to be well-prepared for it.
