SDPSOL是矩阵结构行列式最大化（MAXDET）和半正定规划（SDP）问题的解析/求解工具包。

SDPSOL is a parser/solver for determinant maximization (MAXDET) and semidefinite programming (SDP) problems with matrix structure.

SDPSOL首次发布于1995年11月。

SDPSOL was first released November 1995. 

据我们所知，SDPSOL是解决SDP和LMI问题的第一个解析/求解工具包。

As far as we know, SDPSOL was the first parser/solver for SDP and LMI problems. 

在开发了SDPSOL之后，我们继续开发了其他几个工具包，包括商用软件包LMILAB和非商用软件包LMITOOL和YALMIP。

After SDPSOL was introduced, several others were developed, including the commercial package LMILAB, and the noncommercial packages LMITOOL and YALMIP. 

更新的通用凸优化工具包CVX具有相同的用途（优于SDPSOL）。

The much newer general purpose convex optimization package CVX serves the same purpose (better than SDPSOL).
