2. 体会这个词 （进阶篇）
“trademark”是个名词，它的最基本意思是“商标”，也可以用来表示“特点”“标志”。当我们想表达人和物的特点时，除了想到用 feature，characteristic 外，还可以选择用 trademark。
比如亚马逊 CEO 杰夫·贝佐斯笑起来非常有特点。他极富感染力的高声大笑成了他最知名的标签。我们就可以说：

trademark 虽然是个名词，但也可以像形容词一样修饰名词，表示“标志性的xx”“招牌式的xx”。这种用法在口语和写作中都非常常见。比如我们想表达“你又来这一套！”“又是这招！”，就可以说：

《经济学人》官方网站上有个博客叫 The Economist Explains，它在介绍自己时就用了 trademark 的这种用法：

《经济学人》的姊妹杂志 1843 在介绍奥地利的招牌蛋糕“沙哈”（sachertorte）时，就用到了 trademark 的两种典型用法：
1) Austria’s trademark dessert was the subject of a seven-year legal battle.
2) It was his son, Eduard, who turned the sachertorte into a national trademark.
