I definitely saw Sheila at the party.
Lucille absolutely can't come.

表示较大的可能性,使用 probably。
They are probably late.
Dylan probably brought drinks.
They probably can't buy snacks.

表示较小的可能性,使用 maybe。注意该词用于句首。
Maybe we can have a surprise party.
A: Is Rhonda coming?
