require doing和require to be done 区别 require

1 区别
require doing相当于require to be done，两者可以互换，但是如果用动名词，要用主动的形式表示被动意义
2 扩展
有些动词后接动名词主动式可表被动意义，而不定式则须用其被动式表被动意义。如：
I won’t bear thinking of. 我不堪被人想念。
I won’t bear to be thought about.
It needs repairing. 它需要修理。
It needs to be repaired.
The cloth won’t bear washing. 这布料经不起洗。
The cloth won’t bear to be washed.
The child wants scolding. 这孩子就是欠揍。
The child wants to be scolded.
