第一次听我玩的歌就是yellow，首先是被马丁的声音吸引，英式腔让人欲罢不能。刚开始并不知道原来yellow还能表示害羞、暗恋的意思，后来看了mv,马丁穿着雨衣独自在海边彳亍，望着无边无际的大海，悲伤地吟唱，如诉如泣。

Fix You 是马丁在前妻格温妮丝父亲去世的时候安慰她的。格温妮丝的母亲在采访中说因为这首歌的意义，她总会在听着这首歌的时候流泪。Fix you 不是修理你的意思，虽然当初读书少是这样认为的...Fix You 在高中的时候给了我多energy，难过的时候听着马丁的声音又会变成一枚元气少女。

看网易上的评论中，有一个是说“科学的别离。不科学的相遇和开始”。从鼓声的节奏点和马丁浓浓的鼻音中，感受到深深的sad。在1'31"的时候，仔细听会听到马丁哽咽的声音。就像歌词中的一样：深情往往难解，理智难赋。

Viva La Vida 在西班牙语中是生命万岁的意思。马丁是在看了弗里达·卡罗的画后产生的灵感。这首歌相较于yellow或是violet hill要更欢快。以前在学校的文艺汇演上听过小提琴的合奏，超级棒！欢快和自信的演唱也让这首歌成为我玩在UK Singles Charts shang的第一支冠军歌曲。
