CLIL stands for Content and Language Integrated Learning and refers to teaching subjects such as science, history and geography to students through a foreign language.

从今天开始和大家陆续分享几个不同学科背景的CLIL教学活动,第一篇先介绍两个英语课堂讲解科学知识的活动课例:
What type of food is it?
目标:识别食物种类和食物金字塔
材料:纸、笔
步骤:1. 教师在白板上画一个食物金字塔,如下图:
2. 从上到下给6个区域依次编号,并在旁边标注食物类别:
dairy, grains and cereals, sugars, meat, fruit, vegetables
3. 组织学生讨论各个食物类别应处的合适位置之前,先确保学生理解图表规则:
The largest section at the bottom shows the type of food we need to eat lots of.
然后提问如:
T: Which part of the pyramid shows sugar and why?
S: Number 1 – the top section, because we need less food with sugar than any other type of food.
4. 讨论出正确答案后在金字塔上标明,孩子们可以把图抄到笔记本上。
Key: 1 sugars, 2 dairy, 3 meat, 4 fruit, 5 vegetables, 6 grains and cereals
What do farmers do?
目标:了解农作活动
材料:纸、笔
步骤:1. 让学生想象自己是一名农民,把下列问题写在白板上,让学生抄写并回答。
● What's your name?
● How old are you?
● Where is your farm?
● What animals or plants do you have?
● What do you like doing on the farm?
2. 学生可以画出一幅自己在工作的图片,然后根据问题和图片描述回答,如:
I’m feeding the chickens./I’m driving thetractor.
3. 如需提升难度可组织全班活动。让学生思考农民日常工作,集思广益,教师将内容在白板上列出,如:
eat breakfast, milk the cows, feed the chickens, look after the cows, eat lunch, drive the tractor, turn the soil, go home, eat dinner.
4. 给每名(组)学生指定一个项目,画图并配上标题,如:
The farmer eats breakfast.
5. 汇总图片制作班级海报,标题是:
A day on the farm.
给海报配上日出、日落和正午的太阳,使整个海报表达更加自然,时间轴也更加清晰。
