一、时态的英文表述

1. 时: 

    Past (过去)

    Present (现在)

    Future (将来)

2. 态: 

    Simple (一般)

    Perfect (完成)

    Progressive / Continuous (进行)

    Perfect Progressive (完成进行)

3. 十二种时态分别为：

    Past Simple (一般过去时)

    Past Progressive (过去进行时)

    Past Perfect (过去完成时)

    Past Perfect Progressive (过去完成进行时)

    Present Simple (一般现在时)

    Present Progressive (现在进行时)

    Present Perfect (现在完成时)

We went on a secret naval mission to collect evidence of a mysterious sea creature.

Past Simple

A creature attacked their boat.

Past Progressive

They were sleeping when it happened.

Past Present

They had departed from Nantucket.

Past Present Progressive

They had been sailing for three weeks.

Present Simple

They still search for the creature today.

Present Progressive

They are preparing for their next mission.

Present Perfect

They have built a special submarine for it.

Present Perfect Progressive

They have been researching possible sighting of the creature.

Future Simple

They will depart next week.

Future Progressive

Your friends will be searching for the next elusive creature.

Future Perfect

The submarine will have reached uncharted depths a month from now.

Future Perfect Progressive

They will have been voyaging for three weeks.
