1.The days....are numbered

XX的日子已经屈指可数了

e.g. The days when you can sit back while your parents work their tails off to support the family are numbered.
你可以什么都不做坐等父母拼命挣钱养家的日子已经屈指可数。

2.have (got) sb's number

表示了解某人的底细；对某人知根知底to know what sb is really like and what they plan to do

e.g. When dealing business with a new partner, it's very important to have his or her number.

3. your 'number is up  劫数已到；死期已至：the time has come when you will die or lose everything

4.Discerning表示有识别力的;有眼力的;有洞察力的；If you describe someone as discerning, you mean that they are able to judge which things of a particular kind are good and which are bad.
