Today is a new start! This is the first day of September and the first day of kindergarten for Stone.  Also, my application is entering the next step. Hope everything go well.

I eventually figured out the verification about transcript, degree and certificate. CHESICC is junk. The requirements listed are opaque and the efficiency is low. I remembered last Tuesday I was so anxious that I nearly cried, for I didn't know how to deal with it. After reading numerous postings on Zhihu, I found out that no one wasn't complaining about it. 

Registering in WES, which is short for World Education Service, was a piece of cake. Following the explicit instruction step by step is OK. By using credit card, I paid for the bill within a second. It is really convenient. Yet, it took me a whole morning to complete. Because when I face a website all in English, I still fears a little bit. I worry that I may miss or mistake some essential elements. Therefore, it makes my head big. But I must overcome it, if I want to study abroad. I became used to it much more. I believe as my application is progressing, the fear will be diminished.

I have finished the verification of degree and certificate and got the English versions. Xia had sent me the official transcripts both in Chinese and English. All I have to do now is waiting for the courier who will arrive in tomorrow morning. They I submit the transcripts to CHESICC and wait. It will first verify with FD, and then send its verification to WES. 

I will apply 4 graduate schools and 2 fellowships. Only Medill requests the WES verification and Columbia J-school ask for the verification directly from CHESICC. In spite of this, I spent $350 and a whole week on it. Still, there will be one month and a half to wait for the result. It is a step which could not be skipped. So enjoy it.

I was too anxious to sleep last week and my heart kept hurting. If my sub healthy state continues like that, I will fall ill before the offers arrive. I tried to let my hair down by speaking to myself, talk with Donkey and play online video game with ZHUA. All these greatly helped. I feel more relaxed now.
