24章讲如何写家族回忆史，养儿方知父母恩，当子孙后代想要了解家族史的时候，族谱和回忆录就起到作用。

Zinsser提到dont try to be a writer,be yourself.作者举例当他读到父亲写的，能感受到父亲的幽默、真诚。

这是你的故事，说你想说的，同时得take care the privacy issue。如果只是写给家族看的话，就没有必要给其他人看。

第25章尽你的能力写的最好。不要为了取悦读者而改变自己的风格。Zinsser还提到他的父亲是个商人，祖父来自于德国移民到美国，在美国纽约曼哈顿如今的59街建了一个小屋和工厂。而作者作为家中独子无可避免要继承事业。他的父亲热衷于做生意，做生意对他而言不仅是赚钱，更是艺术。父亲做生意用的都是最好的材料，并且追求质量，对于次等品一律不要。这个影响了作者。这让我想到最近很火的中美发展论坛，陈冠希以创业者身份告诉我们热爱是最重要的，工作质量的标准不该因国家的不同而改变，换在这里也是合适，不该因不同的行业而改变。而且如果因为钱而进入某个领域，每天早上起床都会感到沮丧而不是热血澎湃。相信自己、相信梦想。

这和Zinsser说的Take your talent as far as you can and guard it with your life很像 。

在文章中anecdote后面是lore，上一章出现过这个单词，两个单词理解为传闻轶事

一个月以来真的很幸运与大家认识，这个群的学习氛围真的是太好了，而且Eric这种模式很好，联机学习比单机学习学到的更多。这个月是我第一次参加，很多不熟，与小伙伴对比逊色很多。我会不断学习，希望以后能写出读书笔记gist。
