在使用IDEA开发工具的过程中，难免会进行各种配置和插件的安装，这些配置花费了我们大量的心血。

当我们的重新安装或者在新的设备上安装了IDEA以后，需要把之前所做的配置工作重新做一遍吗？当然不需要！

IDEA官方文档提供修改配置目录的方法，可以直接参考。下面简单演示说明一下。

在你的IDEA安装目录下的bin目录，可以看到一个idea.properties文件，这个文件是IDEA的核心配置文件，当你做完下面的配置以后，这个文件也需要备份一下，以后可以继续用。

在IDE_HOME\bin\idea.properties文件中配置配置路径，主要修改如下几个参数:

• idea.config.path

这个目录是我们在File\settings标签下做的一些配置，例如CodeStyle、KeyMaps等。

• idea.system.path

这个目录下的配置很关键，编译工具、本地历史、工作空间配置等都在这里。

• idea.plugins.path

这里放的是我们安装的一些插件，如果你需要增加插件，除了在IDEA的操作界面添加，把插件移动到这个目录然后重启也可以安装成功，这就是离线安装。

• idea.log.path

这个目录保存了IDEA产生的log。如果你觉得占用空间过大，也可以删掉部分过期的log。

最后你的IDE_HOME\bin\idea.properties文件中应该有类似这样的一些配置。

如果你需要安装一个新的IDEA，把20190124Win10IntelliJIdea目录以及IDE_HOME\bin\idea.properties文件，直接copy到新的IDEA的配置文件目录就可以了。
