vmware-tools安装

在vmware 5.5.3中安装了rad hat9。

wmware tools是 vmware自带的工具包。有两种安装方式，一是RPM安装包，另一种是TAR包。

rpm安装方式不知道为什么不能成功安装，因此使用tar包安装方式。

 

安装过程如下：

1、启动并进入Linux系统。
2、然后选择<虚拟机> --> <安装VMware-Tools>,此时就会有把VMware-tools文件映像到CD－ROM中。

   此时，/mnt/cdroom里没有，vmwaretools，那么使用mount 命令挂载光盘。

   #mount /dev/cdrom /mnt
3、把“VMwareTools-6.0.2-59824.tar.gz”文件复制到自己的需要的位置中（参考/usr/local/src）。

4、解压
  # tar -C /usr/local -zxvf VmwareTools-6.0.2-59824.tar.gz

  此时，我们把源文件解压到/usr/local目录当中。

5、卸载光盘，要不不能生成/mnt/hgfs共享目录。 #umount /mnt
6、进入目录：cd /usr/local/vmware-tools-distrib
7、输入 ./vmware-install.pl 进行安装，在安装过程中根据提示进行选择，一路按回车即可，直到最后一个选项选择分辨率：选择3 按回车。
