ros由indigo版本升级至jade版本的烦恼

首先,Gazebo不同

indigo版本自带gazebo 参照:indigo的安装

Desktop-Full Install: (Recommended) : ROS, rqt, rviz, robot-generic libraries, 2D/3D simulators, navigation and 2D/3D perception

Indigo uses Gazebo 2 which is the default version of Gazebo on Trusty and is recommended. If you need to upgrade to Gazebo3 seethese instructions about how to upgrade the simulator。

sudo apt-get install ros-indigo-desktop-full

而jade版本的gazebo老有问题,参照jade版本安装,或者说就没有安装完整的gazebo

Desktop-Full Install: (Recommended) : ROS, rqt, rviz, robot-generic libraries, 2D/3D simulators, navigation and 2D/3D perception

sudo apt-get install ros-jade-desktop-full


其次,indigo版本的navigation比较完善

navigation安装:navigation安装教程

# This will install all packages in the mrpt_navigation metapackage
# Alternatively, install individual packages only as you need them
sudo apt-get install ros-$ROS_DISTRO-mrpt-navigation

在indigo版本下navigation是能正常运行的,而在jade版本下,不行。
我安装时,jade版本下,amcl ,map_server均没有安装,启动导航时也没有启动

必须要重新安装才行:
sudo apt-get install ros-jade-amcl

sudo apt-get install ros-jade-map-server
