Morning Jogging Day 15
Why could I run so far?
Because I traveled far except from morning jogging.
I ran to the train station to catch the train!
Keep going!
Morning Reading
English Original reading Day 23 from the book Jonathan Livingston Seagull
By sunup, Jonathan Gull was practicing again. From five thousand feet the fishing boats were specks in the flat blue water, Breakfast Flock was a faint cloud of dust motes, circling.
He was alive, trembling ever so slightly with delight, proud that his fear was under control. Then without ceremony he hugged in his fore wings, extended his short, angled wingtips, and plunged directly toward the sea.
My friend Todd is very helpful , he is ready to help others.
The Arab Republic of Egypt ( rewritten by Todd )
I've always wanted to travel to Egypt.
Egypt is located in the north east part of Africa, between the Atlantic and the Indian Oceans. The countries that are nearby are Sudan, Palestine and Libya. The sea is the link between the Mediterranean Sea and Europe.
The official languages that are spoken are Arabic, English and French. They use the Egyptian Pound for currency in most of the country. There are over 95 million people and there are over 1 million square kilometers of land. The most famous river is the Nile.
According to historical documents, there are 86 pyramids. Well known people’s pyramids are Khufu, Khafre and Mewkaura, while Khufu is the most famous.
The Khufu pyramid was built 2,560 years ago. It is 146.5 meters high and was built with stones. It was constructed by 100,000 workers over a span of 20 years. It is one of the greatest miracles of humankind.
This country has many resources, including oil, natural gas, phosphate, iron, cotton, etc.. Oil and gas rank fifth and fourth among African countries.
Egypt is the third largest economy in Africa. It has service industries, agriculture and manufacturing industries. Nearly 50% of their economy is the service industry.
It's also a traditional agricultural country and textiles are an important industry.
Many crops are grown in this place. All of the crops are consumed locally, and are not exported. Rice, wheat, corn, cotton, peanuts, and vegetables are grown during the warmer season with annual secondary or tertiary cropping, and it is the highest yield per unit area in Africa. A wide variety of fruit is also grown. Oil and textiles are the most important industries and many people are employed in these industries.
On the other hand, there are very good conditions for the development of tourism. They have many tourist attractions that are really worth seeing!
In summary, it is a fantastic and interesting country to visit. That's why I’ve always wanted to travel there.
What a pity ! I can't go to Chenshan for the teaching research meeting .
